Jesse Boykins III - New music

Hello,

I'm back from the dark, winter cave (of my room). Revision is now over, and I don't have anymore exams! So, its happy dayz for me!
Now I suppose its about getting ready for YR13. Like the age 13, it sounds like such a big jump from YR12.

Anyway, enough about school, I have some NEW (yes that's right, NEW) music for my fellow bloggers and blog readers.

Have any of you heard of Jesse Boykins III? He's from Chicago, however, he spent most of his childhood growing up between towns and countries. Anyway, now he is a great explorer soul music, and he blew away the London fan in the Jazz Cafe with his song 'B4 the Night is Thru'.

Its just amazing!

He's voice is just so soulful, I think that it will bring a new kind of sound back. In addition to his beautiful sounding voice, he looks like he just has so much fun on stage. You could just imagine the atmosphere in his gigs (just completely electrified).

Anyway, I will leave you with a few links to do some exploring yourself:

Jesse Boykins III - Website

I believe you can download a free album - but don't quote me on it!

Jesse Boykins III - Soundcloud

On his soundcloud, you can find loads of remixes of 'B4 the night is thru' - and some other amazing songs!

Jesse Boykins III - Twitter

And obviously you can follow his updates.

Hope you have fun!

I'm back diddy back...

Hey, I’m back.

(A proper weird title I have there)

I haven’t really written a piece for my blog in a while. I’ve just been mad busy recently.
I think I need to do some reviewing of programmes. I’ve been reviewing old and new music since December. I think it’s time to change things up a little. So, if there are any TV programmes in England – that you think I should review then, tweet me at @Eskimo_Kiss123. And I’ll get round to doing that soon.

What does everyone think about this whole Cinnamon Challenge craze – that is starting up again.
Some people are bonkers! Mixing cinnamon with hot chilli pepper, and all sorts of crazy madness – something I don’t think I would be particularly willing to do. If I find any more amazing ones (like Glo Zell – who is a great youtuber, who has some wacky videos) then I’ll post them.

Remember to find me and tweet me; I promise I will reply!
Always follow (I follow back, just ask), and smile.
Hope you have a great day.
E x

Von D ft. Phephe - Love Music

Another tune I heard in Camden - so good!

Tyler The Creator - Yonkers

Ive got in to Tyler the Creator - he's videos are always so weird, and complex. So good though!

Alt-J ∆ - Tessellate

I found this song through a friend - who I meet in Camden. She thought it was quite a good tune, and I've grown to agree!
The other day (Friday) I had this song on my mind (like all day!) it was a little annoying - but its a good tune to have on repeat in your mind to be honest!

Rob Base and DJ E Z Rock - It Takes Two

I just remember the early 90's version of this - but this is just as good.

Sugarhill Gang - Jump on it

I do enjoy playing some Sugarhill Gang - Im clearly in the mood to dance - with all these dance/hip hop classics!

Technotronic - Pump up the Jam

This song reminds me of the summer holidays - most days spent on 'Just Dance Wii' - which was great fun!

Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn...

As promised my next post is here...

I'm gonna post all the songs that I think should be heard...in about 5mins (not that time will matter if your reading this in about a day/week/month/years time).

Days...'the indie life'

Heya Blog Readers of the World,

As it is Monday I shall be writing about my week (quick note to remember – I’ll use the word sik a lot in this post – just because sik is the word of the day! And it’s pretty bangin’).

Monday to Wednesday I don’t remember (suggesting that those days were rather poo!).

Thursday I did a radio show, pretty sik. Not live though. But still pretty sik.

Friday – I can’t remember (so also a rather standard day).

Saturday was amazing. I had a bangin day with my mates – chilling in London Town. And then we found this band along the embankment (Psylus) and spent about half an hour of our evening dancing to them (It might have been more). And we found this awesome dustbin man? (there’s a question mark because I’m not completely sure he was a dustbin man) And he was dancing too. So we thought we’d test the leadership theory! It didn’t really work – but it was great fun, and I felt so refreshed after!

Sunday was a day spent in bed. Relaxing.

Monday (aka today) was pretty sik too, spent the day in E.London – in music shops, vintage shops, cafes, old school buses, and parks (reading novels to each other) – I had a friend with me. That was pretty awesome - just talking about life, and general ‘boy troubles’ (the words of a pubescent teen. Awkward.) So, this week has been pretty amazing.

I’ll post the pictures during the week J
